Learning Outcomes
By the end of this programme, participants will:
ÞBe aware of their responsibilities under fire safety legislation
ÞBe aware of the employer’s duties under fire safety legislation
ÞUnderstand the nature of fire
ÞBe aware of the fire safety facilities that exist in their own building
ÞBe familiar with their building’s emergency control procedure
ÞKnow what to do if a fire breaks out
ÞKnow how to evacuate quickly and calmly
ÞKnow how to use a fire extinguisher and how to choose the correct one
Programme Duration 3 Hours
Who should attend?All employees who have been designated as fire wardens and any managers/supervisors who have control over a particular workspace or area.
